The new album is an orchestral/pop project featuring Anna-Maria and opera singing brother, Rosario La Spina. The music beds have been recorded with Australia's finest:
"The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra"

"I wanted this project to be credible, thought-out, consistent and getting back to old school artists who created their own sound and took a chance on it. Which is exactly what’s happened with this. There are some great artists in the classical/pop crossover style of music, however I feel we’ve gone more orchestral on some of these songs, in a cool and classy way. I’ve had some fantastic co-writers on board, and our label/s who understood this project right from the start, let it unfold the way we wanted it to." (Anna-Maria)

"La Spina" have recorded an original Christmas song that can be found on one of Australia's highest selling Compilation albums 'So Fresh Christmas 2010'. Their song 'Sing With Me This Christmas Day' was written by Anna-Maria and Gus Macgregor & recorded with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - Enjoy!

FYI - Anna-Maria can be seen on Channel 9's 'Carols in the City' on Dec 17, 2010 performing "My Grown Up Christmas List".

We've just heard the news that after only 1wk of the release of new album "Always You" it has gone straight to No. 1 on the Australian Classical Pop charts!
